Normal flat washers don't allow for tubular clamping of these universal joint housings, these washers however are perfectly shaped to help correctly clamp the housing onto the shaft and won't cause the joint to ovalise when tightened. 2 washers per connection, 4 required per joint, sold in a pack of 4 but priced individually.
