ATL -6 FIA Approved Vent Valve for fuel tank mounting. Fuel tanks need to be vented, otherwise as the fuel is used, the tank will collapse as a vacuum is created. These vent valves allow air to replace the fuel, but in the event of the car rolling over, the valve closes and prevents fuel from escaping from the fuel cell. These valves feature a float chamber valve and a gravity activated rollover valve, with a blow off capability when fuel pressure rises above 200mbar. This valve is to be mounted in the top or high up one of the sides, of a fuel tank or fuel cell, which can be connected to a breather pipe using a -6 JIC female fitting.
