Super B 20P Lithium Ion energy battery. This lightweight Lithium Ion energy battery weighs just 7.5lb or 3.4kg. This newly developed battery was designed to replace the much heavier 70 to 100 Ah lead acid type battery.
Suitable for use in alternator equipped racing cars up to 4 litre. Super B batteries are also F.I.M. and Stock Racing approved.
The Super B 20P is based on the safe Lithium Iron Phosphate technology (LiFePO4), better known as Lithium Ion. It offers many advantages over conventional 70 to 100 Ah lead acid type batteries, the main advantages are listed below:
