Arai GP-6RC Carbon Helmet. This super high-tech, carbon weave helmet is the one that all the top Formula-1 drivers use. This helmet features technology first seen in Formula 1 and offers protection levels previously not available at any cost. The immensely strong carbon fibre shell features a slightly larger visor aperture for an even wider and deeper field of view than previously.

The helmet shell has been profiled to better accomodate the use of a HANS®/FHR device and this helmet is fully compliant with the latest FIA 8860 standard. The latest visor locking mechanism has also been updated to ensure it can be operted easily within the smallest of cockpits and whilst wearing race gloves. Ventilation has been taken care of with 2 intakes on the chin bar and 3 adjustable upper scoop vents. The airflow passes through the channels within the helmet and out via 2 increased diameter crown outlets for improved ventilation and visor clearing.

The helmet is supplied with a 3mm compound curved, FIA approved visor, which is ready to accept visor tear offs and comes with the famous Arai PED rear spoiler, supplied as part of the package, in a clear finish ready for painting as required. HANS/FHR posts fitted as standard, fire retardent lining and Kevlar chin strap, one of the finest helmets available.
