Racetech T-piece, gauge adaptors, available in a wide range of metric and imperial sizes. These precision machined t-pieces are often used to enable the fitting of a pressure or temperature sensor or an oil pressure line adaptor. The 'end threads' refers to the male and female threads each end of the t-piece, the 'side thread' is the thread at 90 degrees to the main adaptor. These t-pieces are usually inserted into the engine block or housing, typically with some PTFE tape or thread sealant as necessary, with care not to over tighten.
