Tillett Ribtec P1 karting rib protector in black and gold, the latest high quality rib protectors, revised and updated further with improved ergonomic shaping for improved comfort. Revised back panel and elasticated shoulder straps which help prevent the rib protector from rising up.
Externally a tough vinyl wrapped outer layer in striking colours with contrasting Tillett logos. Designed with continued input from top kart racers, ensuring the new P1 delivers the very best in protection, improved comfort, fit and safety.
The P1 rib protector works by effectively transferring load points, during an impact, from the lower floating ribs to the stronger upper ribs and minimises the liklihood of any rib injuries. A special foam is used, which allows the protector to be thinner, reducing any effect on seat sizing.
The smooth suede outers have been designed to prevent wear to your kart suit and a re-designed Velcro strap includes elasticated sections which enable unrestricted breathing, whilst retaining the correct tightness of fit. Each rib protector features an integral over shoulder harness to prevent slipping and keep the the protector in the desired place.
