Tillett C1 Carbon Fibre Race Seat

The superb new Tillett C1 carbon fibre composite racing seats, with a glossy carbon weave front with black gel coat finish to the rear. This new model features integral side head and neck protection, with a 3 piece impact absorbing foam pad set, which covers the rear and side of head areas for extra protection. Designed to allow for mounting that ensures a low centre of gravity, the shells are both extremely strong and rigid, resulting in increased driver feedback from the chassis, with 4 side mounting points and a wide range of side mounting kits available.

The Tillett C1 seat is manufactured in the UK and it's ergonomical design provides optimal comfort and body support, without the need for back or base padding, although padding kits are available to purchase separately if desired. The two seat sizes ensure they are suitable for most drivers' shapes and sizes. The standard size is suited to drivers up to 100kg with a 36" (91.4cm) waist and the x-large model suits larger drivers up to around 130kg with a 40" (102cm) waist.

The seats shell has been designed to enable the outer edge to be trimmed to suit narrow cockpits or internal obstructions. Each seat size, standard and x-large therefore have 2 overall widths listed, the un-trimmed version has the full rolled edges left intact, whilst the narrower versions in each size have been 'trimmed', with the rolled edge cut off, narrowing the overall width of the seat. The C1 seats weigh from 7.1kg and are fully compatible with race harnesses and FHR / HANS devices.
