Cartek 2020 Shift Light - Club Spec

The New 2020 Cartek Shift-Light (club) system. This clubman system is a fully programmable, dash mounted shift light designed to light up and warn the driver of the approaching optimum gear change timing. This new device contains 8 multi-coloured LEDs, which can be user programmed to form a display sequence that should start before the optimum change point, allowing time to make the gear change at the right time, to make use of the most engine torque and before any damage to the motor is done.

The Shift-Light (Club) requires an engine speed signal to operate which can be any RPM output from an ECU (5V or 12V square wave), tachometer signal or ignition coil signal and this new model also includes an Alarm feature which can be used to alert the driver of an engine issue, such as over-heating or low oil pressure, by making a connection to a compatible sensor, data logging system or dashboard alarm output signal.
